Surf Lessons In Santa Barbara

Santa Barbara surf lessons are typically 1.5 hours, and are offered seven days a week, year-round — surf and weather permitting. If you don’t have any surfing equipment, don’t stress, we provide wetsuits and surfboards so all you have to do is show up and have a great time.

We offer several options, from individual and group private lessons, as well as wedding parties, corporate outings and memberships. In all of our lessons we will cover everything from how to get into the ocean safely, to paddling through the waves, as well as how to efficiently turn your board around to catch waves, along with when to pop up, how to pop up, and how to make bottom turns and cutbacks so that you can get the most out of your ride. In your private and private group classes, your professionally trained instructor will acquaint you with the ocean from a surfer’s perspective as well as teach you how to safely and efficiently use your equipment to get into the surf and catch some waves.
