Providing The Best Experiences

The iSurf Experience is unlike any other on the Gold Coast, we custom pick the day’s best surf spot in order to accommodate the constantly changing wind, tide, and swell. If there’s a specific beach that is more convenient for you, let us know, and we will do our best to accommodate you. Whether you’re in Santa Barbara, Goleta, or Ventura, we have a convenient, beginner friendly surf spot just for you. The day before your surf lesson, our team will analyze the conditions and then let you know which beach will provide the best experience for your surf lesson. Our extensive knowledge of our local beaches and highly experienced staff is one of the many reasons why iSurf is endorsed by the World Surfing League.

Campus Point,
Goleta, Ca

When choosing our Campus Point location, you will be meeting at parking lot #6, located just up the road from Campus Point beach. When coming from Santa Barbara, take the 101 North and then take the 217 UC Santa Barbara exit (right after Patterson Ave). Enter UC Santa Barbara going through Henley Gate and go around the round-a-bout getting off at Lagoon Rd.

Then take Lagoon Rd till you get to the parking lot on your left. Park and then go to a pay station to enter in your license plate number to buy a $5 2-hour parking pass ($4 on weekends).  If it is a weekday, make sure you park at the green stars with the “Coastal Access” signs. Your instructor(s) will be waiting in the parking lot, where you will get your wetsuits on and walk down to the beach together.

Leadbetter Beach,
Santa Barbara, Ca

If you are located in central Santa Barbara, Leadbetter Beach is a great option for your surf lesson.  In order to get to Leadbetter, get off the 101 Freeway at the Castillo off ramp.  After you get off the freeway, turn towards the beach and drive two blocks.

When you get to Cabrillo Blvd, make a right on Shoreline Drive and drive approximately 1 mile, going up a slight hill alongside the beach.  After you go up the hill, make a left into your first free parking lot at Shoreline Park.  We will meet in or near the parking lot across the street from 1214 Shoreline Dr. ***Please DO NOT meet at the parking lot next to Shoreline Cafe.  Also, please follow the directions above instead of Googling the name “Leadbetter Beach”.

Mondos Beach
, Ventura, Ca

Regardless where you’re located, Mondos Beach is one of the area’s most consistent and beginner friendly beaches. To get to Mondos, leave Santa Barbara driving south on the 101 for 25 minutes.

After you pass La Conchita (Cliff House Restaurant) you’ll get off at Seacliff off ramp and take a right at the stop sign, driving along the frontage road for 5 minutes. Once you pass Faria Campground, you will see Mondos beach about 1 mile down the road. Your instructor will either be parked on the south end of the beach near 3560 Pacific Coast Highway, Ventura or the north end near 3674 Pacific Coast Highway, Ventura. They will be in a Mercedes Sprinter van. Feel free to call them if you are having trouble finding them.
